jdarks does a good job with dead transcriptions, I gave him some big river tabs i wonder if he ever put those up?

hey strat how about sage and spirit.i've searched high and low,with no luck.can't even find it in any dead album books.keep in mind i'm a novice and haven't reached the skills of picking notes out of songs yet.

i can't find sage and spirit anywhere...my advice would be to first learn something like the weather report suite intro that Bob Weir plays solo at the beginning...if you can do that then Sage and Spirit would be next on the difficulty scale...mostly because it's a longer piece and 2 guitars if I'm not mistaken...i haven't listened to it in ages...

people may not realize that Weir has huge hands and he had an affinity for chord inversions and extensions that spanned 6 frets...i suspect that you will encounter that if you dive into his compositions...what i'm saying is that it's a bitch...his riffing on the big tunes are basically pulled from the chord shapes themselves...i.e. the scales that "lay over" the chord shape...nice and easy area to work as a guitarist, but the key is taste, not speed necessarily...

some of it...it's been awhile, I had given him the corrected chords and a couple of the licks. looks like he expanded on the tab...
